CCTV or camera systems are growing in their popularity.  The main reason for the growth is that a camera is an impartial witness to an event. Cameras of all shapes and sizes can capture pictures and allow us to see things from different perspectives or to see things even when we are not there.  With the advances in technology color cameras are almost the same price as B/W cameras.  The main things that separate a good camera from an average camera is lines of resolution.  Anything above 400 lines is a good camera and 480 lines is closer to the quality level that you would need to get a good quality picture.
